I keep buying these broken minis because they are so fun to work with! This guy had a broken tail and was missing a hand. I'm so glad his tail was included so all I had to do was glue it back on! Then I gave him a scary claw prosthetic and he was good as new; ready to terrorize my players in the sewers.
Damaged minis from SYZ Games always exceed expectations! This one had a minor flaw in the printing of his cape but after painting him up, it's hardly noticeable. This will be a great noble NPC at the table and only cost me a few bucks!
What a cool idea! Some of these I couldn't even tell were damaged! The obvious ones with missing appendages can be kitbashed for some easy custom minis. Excellent price for some useful greeblies if nothing else.
This is a really good deal for people that like custom creations or repair projects. Or are good with the green stuff or modeling putty. I bought several bags in different amounts to see what I get. It will be a mix of minis 28/32/40/50mm maybe one large item. Roughly out of every 10 damaged minis you can get 3 good minis. 1 out 10 are almost good enough to use with minor defects, another 2 or so need some minor repairs or weapons. 3 more or so can be made to work with good green ir putty skills to repair missing limbs. The last 5 of 10 you will likely use as spare parts to repair or fix the previous 5 minus errors. Some will have no heads, weapons, or arms or be miss aligned prints, or malformed, but It’s good value for money for those that like cutstom projects and mystery boxes. Or maybe you want so spare parts.
There are so many reasons to love this package. The idea that something that would normally have to be wasted is instead being used as a great learning tool - at least for me - is the best one. I take artistic chances with these minis and explore color schemes and techniques I might not try otherwise. And more times than not- I can add a missing weapon or make a damaged piece of armor look like it is part of the design. Finding how to make the mini "whole" is also a great challenge. All in all - this is the best value out there!
This has to be the best deal in miniatures! Most of the minis are minimally damaged or just missing a weapon. But I think the best thing about this package is the combination of the freedom from stress you get knowing that the mini is discount so to speak, and the challenge of something random to paint that you might never have seen or chosen. It's addicting!
High quality print. shipped fast and arrived with no broken parts. I got five minis and I was really happy with what I got. One had very slight flaws on the hands. Two where missing an arm, one of which wasn't fully cured (I can get a friend to cure it). One was missing wings but looked good otherwise. The last one just had a flaw in the bottom of the base. Would do it again.
These are…incredible. With no exaggeration, these minis are a testament to the quality this shop provides - all of mine in this particular order came missing a singular hand or a foot at WORST. I have received minis from other shops that arrived in these exact conditions - a stretched thin limb, for example - as ‘intended, final, and passed quality control.'
These are going to be amazing practice pieces to hone sanding and sculpting on!
I've bought from this seller a few times, and man are these minis great. Most of the time I have to search to find where the damage is, which I feel is a testament to their high standards of excellence. Definitely worth a buy, for sure!
So I gave this a try, I admit, just to pad an order - but I am really pleased by what I received! I got an anime cat girl and a Hatsune Miku mini. I think the cat girl is 32mm and the other 28mm but it just could be the style difference of the sculpts. Doesn't really matter - I had to really do some looking to figure out what the damage was. For both it's a hand issue - the cat is mostly missing a finger and Miku's one hand looks a bit off. I already have an idea for the cat girl and while the other one is too tiny for me to want to fix the issue, I can easily ignore it to use as paint practice, or use her for parts LOL. Either way not at all a bad deal and I'm not disappointed at all by what I received.
You will get a mixed set of stuff. You will get a mix of items missing a finger, limb or decoration. Some might have been prints with no hands or foot. Or missing weapons and gear.
If your into projects or like using putty and green stuff you can craft some real unique minis. Or maybe you paint up the stuff missing limbs etc as zombies. maybe as wounded proxy minis. Many ways to use them and they come at a good value cost. Or maybe you just want some minis you can cut up to use as bits.
This was my second batch of misprinted minis and as before they are diverse in theme and typically not damaged beyond repair or modification. If nothing else they are great for painting practice, but many are in good enough condition to use as-is or with minor repairs such as adding a replacement hand.
The selection of damaged minis had a lot of variety, from fantasy monsters to pin-ups, and a few sci-fi pieces. The damage was mostly minor but there a few with multiple limbs missing or multi-part miniatures with only one part provided. A few seemed entirely intact except for some minor warping or a hand or the like. Still, the value is great and this is a great opportunity to learn how to mod resin minis, as well as painting practice.
I got two random minis. Both are awesome. Not really any big issues. One just had its sword missing, but everything else was in amazing condition. The other was a woman warrior. Only issues was missing her hand, but i think its make for an opportunity for a cool back story. Really happy with what i got and will for sure get the random damage minis again.
Very high and surprising quality! As anything with the words random and “damaged” going into this with a slight sceptaeism, out of the 60 miniatures I counted 5 actually “damaged” minis, the majority of the rest felt brand new and I struggled to find major issue with any of them! The spread was nicely diverse, no doubles, and arrived quickly to boot! Would 100% recommend this product to anyone who wants minis for any reason!
I got quite a few that are only missing parts that I should be able to make my own replacements. Others will probably become props, like broken statues.
